Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC)
Services: The VA Heartland Network has several outpatient clinics located throughout the region. The clinics can provide routine health care, laboratory work, and radiological views. Prescriptions may be renewed and ordered from the clinic site. Mental Health Services are also provided. All patients must have a Primary Care Physician at a VA Medical Center who remains responsible for your overall care and will need to see once a year. The clinic staff will consult with your Primary Care Physician regularly.
Getting Started: Clinic visits are by appointment only. To be seen at one of the clinics, ask your Primary Care Physician for a referral.
